Cover And Protect Strips (CAPS) are what we offer as an optional product that covers the 3M fastener pieces on the window frames. Cover And Protect Strips (CAPS) are made of anodized weatherproof aluminum. The Cover And Protect Strips attach with a small 3M Dual Lock fastener to the 3M fasteners on your window frames.
Covers that we ship on your pallet with your oversized 76 x 85″ or 65 x 108″ Storm Stoppers panels are 96 inches long. If you purchase (CAPS) Covers after awhile, we would ship them via UPS Ground and they would be 86″ inches long. (We have to cut 10 inches off them so they fit in the telescoping 96″ box.)
